CIVIL WAR ERA BACON .31 CAL. PERCUSSION 2ND MODEL POCKET REVOLVER CA. 1862. 5 shot fluted cylinder with 4” round barrel marked “BACONMFG. CO. NORWICH, CONN.”. Early production with serial in the 1xx range. All matching and original with factory scroll engraved frame. 30-40% blue on barrel and cylinder. Scews in fine condition and all original. Original case colors on loading lever. Frame and hammer a medium grey very crisp patina. Walnut grips with the original finish. Perfect working order and excellent bright bore and chambers. Superior early example.
