CIVIL WAR ERA BACON .31 CAL. PERCUSSION 2ND MODEL POCKET REVOLVER CA. 1862. 5 shot fluted cylinder and 4” round barrel stamped “BACON MFG. CO. NORWICH, CONN.”. All matching and original as incomplete missing detachable trigger guard and has one broken nipple. Factory scroll engraved frame. Fine condition otherwise with 90% plus blue on the cylinder and 70% plus on the barrel and frame which is almost always minus any blue as it flaked easily. Superior factory walnut grips with nearly all the original piano varnish. Loading lever with vivid case colors. Working order and fine bore and chambers. Extra fine example that needs a trigger guard.
