Description:
English Boxlock ejector 20g by John Blanch.and Son, 28* invisibly sleeved barrels and 3rd fastener. Immaculate bores. Chambers are 2 3/4". Choked RB .004”, LB .007”. Walls RB .033”, LB .037”.
STOCK: Straight style, Straight grain walnut, oil finished, has been lengthened by a well matched wood extension to a LOP of 15” at heel. DAC 1 7/16”, DAH 2 3/8”. Cast off of 1/8”. Finish of stock, checkering and of the checkered side panels and tear drops are flawless. The butt is of well fitted hard rubber. There is a 1/8th inch black horn shim which, if removed would reduce the LOP by that amount. Gold shield is vacant.
RECEIVER is tastefully engraved with a good natural patina and no case color. Double lugs,’ On rib is “ J.BLANCH AND SON, 29 GRACECHURCH ST .LONDON.
FOREARM ls splinter style with pushbutton latch and engraved metal tip.
