Description:
Serial #253681, .38 Special, 6" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This revolver has matching numbers on the frame, barrel, cylinder, yoke, and extractor with the metal retaining 97-98% of the original blue finish that has silvered slightly at the muzzle, along the edges of the trigger guard bow, and on the gripstraps. Additionally, there is a mild turn-ring on the cylinder, and the hammer and trigger retain nearly all of their original bright color case-hardened finish. The checkered walnut, diamond-center, S&W medallion grips are likewise in excellent condition with some minor handling marks on and around the butt, and only some mild flattening of the points. The lock-up is tight and the action functions flawlessly. This is a great looking revolver, with lots of original finish remaining, and rates excellent overall. FFL or C&R
