Antique REMINGTON “IROQUOIS” .22 Pocket Revolver
Very Fine & Tiny .22 Rimfire Conceal Carry Revolver
Here we present an antique Remington “IROQUOIS” .22 Rimfire Pocket Revolver, made circa the 1880s in Ilion, New York. Only about 10,000 of these revolvers are thought to have been produced. The Iroquois was a well-made, self-defense pocket revolver competing directly with the Colt New Line .22, Colt Open Top, and Smith & Wesson No. 1 Revolvers. It holds 7 shots of .22 Rimfire.
The top of the barrel is marked “IROQUOIS” and the left side is marked “E. REMINGTON & SONS. ILION NY”.
The overall condition of this revolver is fine. About 80% of the original finish remains. The markings are clear and legible. The original hard rubber grips show very little wear. The bore is sharp. The action on this revolver is strong.
