Description:
Jos. Hambrusch of Ferlach, Austria O/U double rifle 7x57R, excellent condition with only a few light handling marks on the stock. The gun weighs 7 lbs 5 oz without the scope and 8 lbs 2 oz with the scope.
The 23 3/4" barrels feature a quarter rib with claw mounts for the scope and a single standing rear sight. The front is ramped with a bead. The rifling rates excellent with no pitting and the bluing is 99%.
The action is a strong boxlock with sideplates and has dual underlugs with double locking top crossbolt. The dual triggers are both push to set. The action locks up very solidly. It also feature cocking indicators. The finely detailed engraving features deep relief game scenes of stags on the left side, roe deer on the right side and ibex on the bottom. The stock LOP is 14 1/4" to the original horn buttplate and also has a horn grip cap.
The scope is a 4x Kahles with a duplex style reticle and separate elevation and windage adjustments.
