Description:
SALE PENDING Colt Lightning 38-40 caliber, medium frame, manufactured in 1886, serial number 15980. Antique. Retains most of the original barrel and magazine tube blue, the reciever is mostly silver with some blue remaining. The bore is surprisingly clean and retains most of the rifling. The wood looks good and is solid. This gun looks to be all original and includes the original rear sight and a special order front globe style front sight. The 26" octagon barrel is marked:
