This 5-shot revolver was made in the early 20th Century in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Iver Johnson & Martin Bye both cut their teeth with Ethan Allen, then started their own company in 1871. The company continued to operate until 1993. This revolver was designed to be small and concealable for self-defense in the years leading up to the Roaring Twenties. Condition of this revolver is fine. The original nickel finish is virtually complete. The blue on the trigger guard is about 85%. Case colors are vibrant. The markings are clear and legible. The original hard rubber grips are in good condition. The left side has a small crack in the bottom. Both sides feature the Iver Johnson owl. The bore is sharp, clean and well rifled.
