Here we present a Double Action Revolver in .44, made circa 1900. This would have been an economical full-sized revolver to carry on one’s belt in a period of rapid transitions.
The overall condition is fair. About 75% of the original nickel finish remains with a dark patina where obvious handling was. There are no visible markings. The hard rubber grips have pieces missing, what remains has a nice American eagle design in it. The bore has good rifling and is dark. The action is intermittent, and the hammer mounted firing pin is clipped off.
