“British Bull-Dog” Forehand & Wadsworth Revolver
19th Century Conceal Carry Revolver
Here we present an antique Copy of a Forehand & Wadsworth “BRITISH BULL-DOG” .38 Double Action Revolver, made circa 1900. The revolver was a small, well-built, self-defense weapon, ideal for potent conceal and carry.
This revolver features a double/single action trigger and five shots of .38 S&W. This top strap is marked “BRITISH/BULL-DOG”. It is a very close, period copy of the original, though the country of origin is unknown. The markings and finish are a bit cruder than the original. The grips are wood instead of hard rubber.
Overall condition is good. The original nickel is 80%. The markings are clear and legible. The original wooden grips are in good condition showing little wear. The bore is clean and sharp with good rifling. The action on this revolver is strong.
