SCARCE, Colt 1903 round hammer, nickel plated,checkered black hard rubber grips. Mfg. 1903-29. This is rare because of the round hammer and nickel finish. Model is serial numbered from 16,000-47,226. This pistol is number 16427, so it is the 427th manufactured in this series---the lowest number of any Colt in my collection. This pistol retains 98% of its original finish Calibur 38 Rimless Smokeless. Crisp lettering, Mechanically perfect. This is the best I gave ever seen. And I'm 71! $6$
