Colt 1903 Pocket Hammer .38 ACP, BLUE finish, spur hammer, checkered hard rubber grips Serial numbers began at 16000 and ran to 47226. This is # 25116. Fireblue shows quite clearly but is slightly mottled on both sides of the slide. This is a little-used pistol which rested at some point on moisture. Colt factory letter showing the pistol was shipped on Feb. 23,1909 to Lettering is all very crisp as is the action. No scuffs or scrapes, grips show no wear. No slide stop. A beautiful 116 year old piece of early 20th century technology.
