Description:
This is a very nice and early Springfield M1 Garand Military rifle in .30-06 Sprg. The rifle was made in 1940 and most likely was used in WWII. The rifle was rebarreled in June of 1945 and the bore and rifling are excellent. The walnut stock has great tiger striping and a P proof mark but no other stamps. The forearm and upper handguard are very good with minor combat dings and dents. The rest of the steel is very good with strong finish with some thinning. All in all a very nice rifle.
