Description:
This is a very nice Remington model 03-A3 in .30-06 sprg. The rifle was made in 1942 and has a Oct-43 barrel (10-43) The walnut stock looks to be a replacement and has no stamps on it. The upper handguard and forearm look like they may be original but we have no way of knowing. The metal is blue not parkerized green and has very strong blue. The 24 inch barrel has 2 grooves (correct for some Remington’s) and is in great condition. The rifle comes with a Bayonet dated 1917. This is a very nice early Remington 03-A3 military rifle.
