Sharps Conversion .45-70 caliber rifle. Sharps .45-70 caliber rifle. Post Civil War Conversion. Barrel length 30 inches. Weight is 10 lbs. Barrel has the old Reliable trademark on the barrel. Gun has an adjustable set trigger that works perfectly. Barrel also marked “Sharps Rifle Co. Bridgeport Conn.” Rear sight is a folding ladder with M.S. Lawrence patent mark. Barrel has good bore with strong rifling and light corrosion in the grooves. Barrel has good blue. This rifle is very good condition overall. The only blemish is a pit area on the bottom flat of the barrel near the muzzle. Very nice buffalo hunters Sharps. Note: The barrel has a matching serial number to the frame.
