Ideal Grade 20g L C Smith Hunter Arms. Circa 1914. Interesting field gun. Well used but not abused. There are several issues worth noting. 1/8" crack at the muzzle (photo included) that is deemed safe by Orvis Gunsmith. Small dent in left barrel that was repaired by Orvis Gunsmith (photo prior to repair included). Small cracks in the stock just behind the action that are typical of L C Smiths of this age. Otherwise the stock is sound. Original stock finish is worn and cracked but entirely intact. Case colors about 80% and really impressive. Two letters stamped on the side of the receiver (photo included). Cut short to 13 3/4", 12 7/8" of wood to old rubber pad. 28" barrels choked M/IM. Ejectors. Auto safety. Double triggers. 2 1/2" chambers. 6 lbs. Ser. # 7755.
