Remington model 1887 rolling block "plinker" 22.Only around 800 of these single shot pistols were built between 1887 and 1891.This one has lost most of the blue finish and is a smooth gray patina overall.The original grip and forend are sound and free of cracks.The bore is slightly pitted,but the pistol shoots accurately.The trigger breaks cleanly and the hammer spring is strong.This is a rare pistol and would make a good addition to any collection as is.It would also be a great candidate for restoration.Classified as an antique so it can be shipped directly.
