Winchester Mdl. 62 A, Cal .22 LR. Ser 1235XX.
Unbelievable condition for this 1950 gun. There are two tiny rub marks on the top of the bolt guides and some on the action rod and that's it. It would be impossible to operate this top ejector without those marks. However, I am willing to bet this gun has seen less two boxes of ammo before it was hidden from junior in the attic some 60+ years ago.
There are no rust marks, pin pricks, or scratches anywhere. The gun is close to new as you will ever see. The numbers match of course. The wood is in near new condition. retaining about 99+ of the original factory lacquer. There may be a hairline scratch or two but that's it. Not a ding or splits to be found.
The bolt face and feeding system show very little if any use. The barrel like the rest of the gun is minty. The rifling is mirror bright, razor sharp without the slightest trace of frost. It would almost have to be new in the box to be finer than this little hammer pump.....REDUCED!!! $1395
