CSMC Model 21 20 gauge O/U shotgun. This modern 21 O/U was inspired by the original Winchester 21 O/U prototype that was designed in 1935 and built around 1937 and now resides in Cody (see pages 208 – 214 in The Model 21 book by Ned Schwing). Built with 26” vent rib barrels and fitted with factory choke tubes, single selective trigger, automatic safety an selective ejectors. All of the metal finishes are 98%+. The straight grip stock and forearm were made from absolutely beautiful upgraded walnut and adorned with Winchester style factory “A” carved checkering. The stock has a 14 ¾” LOP over a 1” solid red Winchester rubber pad; 1 ½” DAC; 2 1/8” DAH with a very slight left hand cast. Weighs only 5 lbs. 15 oz. and balances well between the hands. It comes in a handsome shearling lined maker's buffalo hide leg of mouton case. The initials “WPL” of the original/previous owner are engraved in the escutcheon fitted in the bottom of the stock. This is a gorgeous and very fine upland game gun.
