The serial number of this example is C9916, probably manufactured in 1859-60. Overall condition is very good plus, above average for these Carbines. Mostly a very nice even patina with a very good above average bore. Strong rifling and shiny from breech to muzzle. Faint Cartouche remaines at the left wrist.
