Description:
This is a Left Handed "Made in West Germany" Weatherby Mark V rifle in .257 Weatherby Magnum. The serial number dates to 1961. The action and 24 inch barrel are in Excellent condition with a few small handling marks on the barrel near the muzzle. The bore is bright and shiny. The floorplate has a few minor scratches. The walnut stock is in the classic Weatherby Monte Carlo style with skip line checkering and a rosewood fore end cap with a white line spacer, an inlaid rosewood pistol grip cap with a white line spacer, and a Waeatherby ventilated rubber recoil pad with a white line spacer. The wood is in Excellent condition. This rifle is equipped with a classic Bausch & Lomb Balsix 6X scope in an adjustable mount that is included in the price of the rifle. The scope and mount will not be removed and the rifle repriced withput them.
