C&R Eligible 5-Shot .32 S&W in Nickel
Here we present a Hopkins & Allen “XL No. 3 Double Action” Revolver, made circa the early 1900s. Hopkins & Allen were prolific makers of popular revolvers in their day. They were also the manufacturers of the much sought after Merwin & Hulbert Revolvers. This little revolver would have been ideal for the average citizen in the early 20th Century.
The overall condition of this revolver is near fine. The original nickel finish is about 85%. Case colors on the hammer are still visible. The folding hammer spur is no longer with the revolver. The markings are clear and legible. The original hard rubber grips are fine, showing very little wear. The bore is clean and sharp. The action is excellent.
