Gleaming Nickel Finish with Antique Ivory Grips!
Here we present a Remington New Model Pocket Revolver, made circa 1870 in Ilion, New York. This revolver was designed for defensive carry and would have been equally at home in a holster, pocket or purse. With 5 rounds of .32 one could get themselves out of most scrapes. This revolver would have been modified to accept metallic cartridges near the expiration of the Smith & Wesson owned Rollin White Patent, which prevented other companies from using the bored through cylinder until 1869.
This example features truly handsome antique ivory stocks.
The overall condition of this revolver is excellent. The nickel finish is 98%. The markings are clear and legible. Numbers match. The antique ivory grips are in great shape. The bore is sharp and clean. The action on this revolver is excellent.
