This custom stocked Ruger No.1 rifle has a custom French Walnut stock set with some spectacular figure in it. This Ruger No.1 is serial number 134-26987 and was manufactured in 2009. It is factory chambered in the longtime safari classic caliber of 9.3x74R. The original factory blue finish is in excellent condition, rating a solid 98% plus. There are no signs of wear or marring visible anywhere on the metal. The 22" inch barrel has a minty bright bore. The rifling has sharp lands and grooves and there is no pitting or erosion present whatsoever. The barrel has factory installed iron sights consisting of a barrel-band ramped front blade with a brass bead, and rib-mounted adjustable flip-up rear sight. The polished breech block which was left in the white from the factory is spotless as well. The custom stock set is beautifully figured French Walnut in excellent condition. It features a finely checkered forearm with an Alexander Henry style fore-end, a finely checkered pistol grip, a checkered blued metal pistol grip cap, and a black recoil pad. The recoil pad pulls 14" inches to the end of the pad. This No.1 comes with a very nice Nikon 1.5-4.5x20mm Monarch scope with a diamond style reticle mounted in Ruger factory rings. This scope is particularly useful for quick shooting at closer ranges, something very important when hunting large or dangerous game. The scope is in excellent condition with crystal clear optics, and the adjustments all work 100% like new. If you have been looking for a classy and unique big game Ruger No.1, this rifle would be an excellent choice. To recreate this custom-stocked beauty would cost several times our asking price.
