Colt 1847 Walker .44 caliber revolver. A Company 53. Very presentable and attractive gun! This gun is .44 caliber with a 9” barrel. All matching numbers throughout. The metal has a nice even grayish brown patina. Grips are good and are numbered inside. No cylinder scene is visible, but the “53” number is. This gun has a restored barrel length and loading lever. This is not uncommon. Most of the surviving Walker’s out there have the barrel lengths restored and consequently the loading levels as well. The work is almost undetectable. Gun works perfectly. This gun came out of the Paul Sorrel Collection.
