Description:
This is an 1836 US pistol with a lock date of 1837. These had a huge bore being about 56 cal smooth bore. 8-1/2" bbl. Good looking old flintlock with nice smooth metal. No doubt cleaned at some time. Its all there. Frizzen works good. Hammer cocks and releases. Equipped with swivel style ram rod. Wood is also VG. It has been freshened but orig cartouches still show up. Good collectable flintlock!
