This Remington Model 7400 in .270 Winchester caliber has spent it's 27 year life in a safe. It is in excellent like-new condition and comes complete with a scope and the original green plastic factory Remington hard case numbered to the rifle. The original blue finish rates a solid 99% with no wear or handling marks visible. The 22" inch barrel has a minty bright bore with sharp lands and grooves in the rifling and has factory installed adjustable iron sights. There is zero pitting or erosion in the bore. The American Walnut stock set has cut checkering rather than the pressed checkering you see on the newer production rifles from Remington. The stock set is 100% free of cracks or repairs, and appears to be like-new with no signs or wear or use. The rifle is set up for a sling with sling swivel studs factory installed on the buttstock and the nosecap of the forearm. The previous owner mounted a Simmons "Whitetail" 3.5-10x40mm scope on Weaver see-thru mounts. The scope is also in like-new condition with clear optics free from scratches or chips. The elevation and windage adjustments both work perfectly and the power adjusting ring turns smoothly. Everything on this rifle works 100% like the day it left the factory.
