This Marlin was produced around 1916. These rifles were not issued a serial number. The barrel is 24 inches. The bore is very clean and the lands are sharp. There are one or two small spots of pitting in the bore. The factory blued finish would rate a 97% condition. The take down feature is tight with no play. The action works very nice. The original sights are intact. The stock and forend retain the factory finish. This is a well cared for Marlin that has survived in very fine condition. This 22 should make any Marlin collector happy to own this gun. Search for hlvfineguns on google for more details.
