Description:
This one has an 1864 three line marked lock. All of the markings are very good crisp and sharp including the beautiful wrist cartouche. These rifles were finished in the white and the barrel has the 3-leaf 500-yard rear sight. It has a 40” rifled 58 caliber bore. The mechanical function is excellent condition; the bore is excellent, bright and shiny with strong rifling. The wood is very good plus but does have some very small storage dings and dents. The overall condition of this rifle is better than very fine plus condition.
