This Winchester M-70, .270 Cal , Ser No. 138XXX - 1949 -"Super Grade" comes w/a Bausch & Lomb # "KW 5977 Scope", Excellent
Optics perfect crosshairs.The stock is in good condition w/some handling marks by the chamber & cap. These are very light & don"t interfear w/the nice rich "Reddish tones throughout the the "Deluxe Craftsmanship of the overal great condition of the cheek piece and Ebony forend tip". The Pistol Grip cap combined w/the hand checkering and wrap effect is why a Winchester "Super
Grade" is hard to beat.
The bluing is almost perfect also w/only slight edgewear around the floorplate. Al this is setoff w/a stunning bore and nice distinct twist
to the rifling.
