Springfield US Model 1884 .45-70, 32 1/2" bbl, approximately 232,000 mfg between 1885 and 1890, has a nice brown-grey patina, stock not original (no cartouche), wood chip right side in front of action - multiple dents in the wood, and metal butt plate. This rifle has a lot of character.
