Guns by Sally-always the best for less. We are over the top proud to offer this stunning example of a Prussian Charles Daly high grade double. The full model name struck and gold washed on the top rib is "Imperial Regent Diamond Quality", which is the best offered. It is rich in features, and the craftsmanship and engraving leap out from the gun. Double lugs secure the barrel to the frame, and she locks up tight. The beavertail forearm locks in just as tight. The checkering is wonderful, and you can see the figuring through it in several photos, which is not often the case. The blue on the 32 inch Krupp tubes is rich and deep, the bores are great, and they ring true. The muzzles touch, of course. The restrictions are 21 and 28 thousandths, or modified and light full. They are topped with a matted ventilated rib. Ejectors toss the empties, and the safety is non automatic. Cocking indicators are another nicety, as is the single selective trigger. The workmanship and feel of these Prussian guns rival any in the world, and I have bought one every chance I got. The deep chiseled engraving combined with the gold inlayed critters is a joy to behold. The lever resides in the middle of its travel, and I suspect it was there when new. I also suspect it will be dead center a hundred years from now. That's how well built these guns are. Drops are 1 3/8ths and 1 3/4 inches, and the LOP is 14 3/4 inches. If she had 2 triggers, the LOP would be even longer. Despite the long barrels and LOP, she weighs in at only 7 1/2 pounds. There are only light handling marks, and this double must have received good care. All numbers match, bearing serial number 26363. Similar guns of this grade have brought 5 figures at the big gun s. I will list this one for less. If you have been looking for the right Charles Daly to collect or for investment, then look no further.
