Description:
Offered is one of the Rarest Mauser Banner WW2 Era Lugers.   06/34 Pattern Commercial .30 Luger Serial number 3725v.  It is all matching including its ORIGINAL MAGAZINE and comes complete with its Swiss holster, shoulder strap and Swiss Retailer muzzle cap that is marked Depose H. Luthy Armes Neuchatel.   Condition of all is Mint, with nearly all of the original blue and straw on the small parts.  The bore is mint and the grips excellent.   Please see THE MAUSER PARABELLUM by Hallock & van de Kant on pages 482-483 for more information on this rare Mauser Banner variation. One of only 250 ever produced. Probably made around 1940 or 1941. Eagle N proofed and most likely made for the Swiss commercial market, this variation is one of the prettiest Lugers ever made by Mauser. The rare and elegant features of this Model include; grip safety, 4 3/4 inch pencil  barrel, .30 Luger caliber and old style long frame.  The fit, finish and appearence are second to none and this one is in fantastic original condition with its original matching magazine.  The original Swiss holster and shoulder strap are also in excellent shape with no repairs or alterations and is retailer ink stamped on the inside of the flap.  This is one of the very best and rarest Mauser Banner Lugers that you will ever find offered for sale.
