5 shot 38 S&W caliber. 3 1/4 inch solid rib round barrel. Most all of the original nickel finish remains. Strong traces of case color remain on hammer and trigger. "S&W" monogram checkered black hard rubber grips show some wear but are in good condition. Nice working double action. Good bore. Matching serial numbers. Nice Top-Break Fourth Model Smith & Wesson revolver. 216,300 made between 1895-1909.
