Serial number 2072 which is very early 2nd year of production..1932. This gun has 32” “step” vent rib barrels, with a middle bead added, that are choked .025” (IM) and .035” (F) with both bores being mirror perfect and .725” standard diameter. This is a grade 1 gun that was embellished with two ducks on the left side and a monogram and scene on the right side. The round knob, long tang stock has a 15 1/8” LOP over a 3/8” spacer and a 1” pad making the trigger to wood dimension at 13 ¾”. DAC is 1 5/8” and DAH is 2 3/8” with neutral cast. The unusual forearm is referred to as the "pear" shaped trap forearm and it was only available on a special order basis. The metal and wood have been completely refinished and retain 98%+ of the new finishes. Single selective trigger and mechanically very sound except the breech is off face of the receiver when the forearm is in the forward position.
