Description:
This rifle is commonly referred to as a 1902 Remington Rolling Block. It is also known as a No. 5 Smokeless Rolling Block. These rifles were mostly manufactred in 7x57mm Mauser for South American countries around the turn of the century. This model has screws in a lower configuration than earlier Rolling Block rifles. This paticular rifle looks as if it was carried alot but not shot a bunch, at least in terms of bore condition vs outer condition. The bore looks has good lands and grooves but is a bit dark. There is pitting at the wood line and a crack in the handguard and forearm.

Metal Condition: Fair to poor; pitting at the wood line, lots of patina, factory finish is all but gone
Wood Condition: Fair to poor; crack in handguard (common on these rifles) and crack in forearm. Buttstock is in Very Good Shape.
Bore Condition: Strong Lands and Grooves, but is a little dark.
