Best Quality Model De Luxe bolt action “Take Apart ” rifle built on a pre-war Model 1908 DWM Mfg. Mauser action and chambered in Winchester’s .338 Magnum. Highly figured walnut stock with Monte Carlo cheekpiece, wrap point checkering and 14 1/8" LOP over a leather pad. Trap grip cap and single steel cross bolt are case colored and engraved, with gold oval bearing the letters “RR”. Bottom metal is engraved in deluxe scroll with “Model De Luxe” engraved in a banner and marked “3 Cartridges” with the serial number engraved on the trigger bow. “SAFE” inlayed in gold on flag safety and a standard H&H stalking safety mounted on the receiver. Island rear sight with one standing Express sight regulated for 200 yards and a folding leaf regulated for 350 yds. Holland’s Patent Folding sight hood and single blade front sight and a barrel mounted sling swivel; barrel length is 25”. Receiver’s front ring is stippled and action has never been drilled and tapped, open sights only. Barrels shows “Holland & Holland 13 Bruton St. London” address, serial number is 39xx and gun has 1978 London Proofs. Despite being a “Take Apart” rifle, screws have been remarkably well guarded and screws are unmarred. The rifle remains all original and remains in 97% to 98% overall w/ a perfect bore.
