Description:
The Remington Model 14/14-A was made from 1912 to 1935. The Slide Action Rifles were fitted with a 22 inch barrel, 5-shot tube magazine, open sights, plain pistol grip stock, grooved forearm, and were chambered in either .25 Rem., .30 Rem., .32 Rem., or .35 Rem.. This rifle is as described and is chambered in .35 Remington. It is in excellent original condition, retaining 85% of its original blue finish, with most loss on the tube magazine, due to cycling of the action, and on top of the barrel, from handling. The steel butt-plate has lost most all of its finish, having turned a dark grey patina. The forend retains 70% of its original finish, and the stock retains most all of its refinsh. The bore is bright and the action functions perfectly. Sights appear to be original and are clean, with unmolested screwheads.
