Description:
This sale offers a 16 Ga. Parker VH grade SN 219077 manufactured in 1926. This gun carries 26” barrels on a "1" frame chambered for 2 ½” shells and are choked full and modified with an ivory front and center bead sight. The length of pull is 14” to the front trigger with a drop at comb of 1 ¾” and a drop of heel of 3 ½”. The stock is in very good condition with no cracks, dents or gouges and is equipped with it’s original dog head butt plate. CONDITION: The gun is in very good plus condition with 75% to 80% blue showing on the barrels with areas of fading above the forearm from being carried in the field. The gun locks up tight with the top lever being well right of center. The receiver retains a good amount of muted case colors. Checkering on the stock and forearm are good and sharp. The bores are good and bright with no pitting. This is a great gun for the vintage enthusiast and while weighing in at just 6 lbs. 11 oz. it would be equally at home in the field behind a bird dog.
