SMITH & WESSON MODEL No 1, FIRST ISSUE, serial no. 7647, Considerable blue on the barrel and on the cylinder. Markings are excellent. Grips appear to be rosewood. 22 short rimfire caliber. Manufacturer's marking are on the top of the barrel are correct for the S & W Model No. 1, 1st Issue. The patent date marking on the cylinder are sharp markings
