NEW REDUCED PRICE OF $2150 OR BEST OFFER!! Get ready for varmint season with this tack driving Shilen DGA rifle! This single shot Shilen DGA (Damn Good Action) rifle was built by Doug Shilen according to his specs for me in the 1970’s. Doug recommended the 22-250 Improved cartridge as he had a rifle identical to this and said it was an extraordinarily accurate round that operated in excess of 4000 fps. It is a great varmint cartridge and is known to “pole axe” deer too. This rifle was one of the first built by Shilen having serial number 323. It has a number 6 contour 24 inch Shilen barrel and a laminated thumb hole Shilen stock. The trigger is of Shilen match quality as well. The rifle has had less than 350 rounds through it, and my load of 40.5 grs of 4064 (recommended by Doug) has shot a 0.140-inch group and continues to shoot typically 0.15 to 0.25-inch groups at 100 yards. The rifle shows zero wear on the wood, metal and bore and has been pampered since new. Included with the rifle are a 20X Lyman Light Weight Bench Rest scope in Conetrol mounts, RCBS dies, and fire formed brass.
