Description:
William Buchele was one of the Masters of the recreation of the American Long Rifle. He even wrote several books on the subject. For sale here is an exquiste swivel barrel flint lock, after a J.P. Beck design. Fire one shot, press the button on the front of the triggerguard & swivel the barrels to take the second shot. 50 cal., with some of the finest stock work ever produced, in my opinion. Beautiful Curly Maple, with brass patch box. Sterling Silver oval on cheekpiece with American Eagle. Fine Sterling Silver wire inlays on either side of the oval. Barrels are 36" in length, overall is 51 1/2", & remains in excellent condition throughout. Signed on top barrel flat "W. Buchele". Ask any questions you wish, I will get the answers.
