Description:
A very nice Cased Colt 1849 Pocket Model, SN 279982 all matching numbers including the wedge (no number on the loading lever). The gun is a 4" x.31 caliber. It retains traces of original Colt blue and has great sharp markings and crisp edges. The remainder of gun is an even brown patina with traces of case colors on frame and loading lever. The gun is mechanically tight and indexes well. The bore is very good. The grips are excellent and retain 98% original varnish. It comes with in a nice period walnut case with period accessories.
