Description:
This is a very rare 4 barrel percussion rifle.  Has flat rib on top and fluted ribs on side. Barrel is 29" long and each is .31 caliber.  Looks to be original front sight with a V notch lollipop rear sight on the tang.  It has a single replacement ramrod on the bottom.  Firing mechanism is unique with a nipple for each barrel with rotating hammer nose to fire individual barrels.  It has double set triggers which releases the right hammer first.  The long back action locks are each marked "W.C. Henerie Maker, Syracuse, NY.  Mounted with highly figured cente crotch walnut with iron furniture and twin two piece patch boxes on the right hand side.  Gun is in mostly very good condition with few scratches and marks on the barrel or stock.  Metal has an even brown patina with walnut stock. Finish seems to be original.  Stock has a break in the wrist with some wood fill around the bottom tang.  Ramrod is rare original as told to me by an expert.  Bores are clean and shiny. This is an extraordinary gun. It may be a very long time before one of these comes up for sale. Feel free to call, text or email with questions.  570-971-2773
