Description:
Born in 1978, this Colt Python could be the centerpiece of anyone's Python collection. Nickel plated and beautifully D engraved by the Colt Custom Shop, in its' original clamshell display box and with the white cardboard outer box. I am unable to find a signature nor an engraver's name or initials, but under the left grip is stamped COLT ENG., which means that the gun was factory engraved under the Colt Dome. The revolver has several of the lightest partial turn lines on the cylinder from it being handled over the past 45-some years, but it has never been fired nor dry fired according to the owner, The nickel is gorgeous and mirror-like where not covered with the most gorgeous scroll engraving you will ever see. Pythons being what they are, you can buy 100's of them without seeing one like this. For little more than the cost of 2 common standard blued Pythons- you can have what you are looking at here. Top of the line- Top Dog from under the Dome. Peruse and enjoy the pictures, I think they came out pretty well. It can be very hard to get good pics of a nickel gun. Think about it.
