A Smith & Wesson Victory Model 38spl. revolver 4" barrel in "as new, unissued condition" The phosphate finish is near perfect all around and all the parts serial numbers all match including the grips. Top strap has the "Flaming Bomb" and U.S. PROPERTY GHD. See photos of the inside recoil shield and top strap at the barrel end, there are no indications of use other than the test firing! Mint bore and chambers. This is one that was returned to Smith for the improved hammer block safety, only 40,000 were returned for this change.. About 242,000 were manufactured 1942 to 1945 And this one is truly a rare find in the condition! Priced to sell so don't wait on this one!
