Description:
This is a strong example of the S&W .32 caliber Model 1-1/2 Single Action Revolver. Standard 3 1/2" barrel with five-shot cylinder, nickel finish, and early style checkered hard rubber grips. The .32 caliber Model 1-1/2 SA was produced from 1878-1892 with a total production of just over 97,000. The serial number is in the 74XXX range. It was likely mf'd during the early 1880's but an exact date can be obtained by ordering a factory research letter from Smith and Wesson. Barrel has numerous patent dates ranging from 1865-1877. See photo.
The screws and pins are very good. 100% all matching numbers throughout including grips, cylinder, barrel, barrel latch, and frame. Grips are Excellent with sharp checkering and no chips, cracks, or repairs. Bore is Good+ to Very Good. Barrel latch is tight. Ejector works properly. Excellent mechanics.
SN 74XXX   This piece retains 98%+ plus of its original nickel. This is an ANTIQUE and can be shipped directly to you. Sold as an Antique ~ no guarantees, warranties, or liabilities for any actual usage. If any firearms are to be used for shooting purposes, a qualified gunsmith should inspect them first.
