Commercial Mauser Broomhandle manufactured in 1903, low serial nimber: 33863. Barrel 5 1/2 inches. Adjustable rear sight marked 50-1000 meters. Early safety. All numbers match. Marked VON LENGERKE & DETMOLD NEW YORK on left frame, Crowns U, and antler proof. Large Ring Hamer. Deep Milling. Hand scratched into inside of both hard rubber grips: K33863. Condition 96%: Freckling on right side/front of magazine box. Muzzle wear lower barrel. Lanyard ring and front grip frame dull. Bore very good, no pittong. Scratch Lower barrel at chamber (common).
I acquired this pistol in 1955 from the person who bought it new from VL&D, but I have no further provenance.
