Nickel IVER JOHNSON Top Break DA .32 Revolver
.32 S&W Revolver with Very Nice Mother of Pearl Grips
Here we present an Iver Johnson Safety Automatic Top Break Double Action Revolver in .32 S&W, made in the early 20th century. Iver Johnson & Martin Bye both cut their teeth with Ethan Allen, then started their own company in 1871. The company continued to operate until 1993. This revolver was designed to be small and concealable for self-defense in the years leading up to the Roaring Twenties.
The top of the barrel is marked “IVER JOHNSON ARMS & CYCLE WORKS/FITCHBURG, MASS. U.S.A.”
The overall condition is very good. The original nickel finish is 85%. The markings are legible. The mother of pearl grips are in good condition. The bore is clean and sharp. The action on this revolver is functioning, though the trigger return spring is weak.
