INSCRIBED, CASED Antique S&W 32 Cal Lemon Squeezer
“FHC to GA Smith” Engraved on the Frame
Here we present an antique Smith & Wesson 1st Model .32 S&W Safety Hammerless Revolver, made circa 1890 in Springfield, Massachusetts. This little revolver holds 5 shots of .32 S&W. It was designed to meet the defensive needs of citizens and law enforcement in the late 19th Century. This is a top break design with an automatic ejector, hammerless design and grip safety. These features made it great for pocket carry.
The right side of the frame is engraved “FHC to GA Smith”. It is housed in a very well-made walnut case with red felt and hinged lid and lock. Also included in the case is a period .32 S&W cartridge box and several cleaning implements.
The overall condition is fine. The original nickel finish is 85%. The markings are clear and legible. The original hard rubber grips are fine, showing little wear. The bore is shiny with strong rifling. The action is excellent. Here is a very collectable Smith & Wesson revolver!
